COVID-19 vs. COVID-19 vaccine

According to an analysis of Google Search data, this year the term “COVID-19” has been by far the most popular item searched in Illinois. Many people were now looking into different solutions to prevent Coronavirus. This started with searches of the term “COVID-19 testing” and the term “COVID-19 vaccine”.

Just in Chicago, IL the has been 100 search interests of the search term “COVID-19 vaccine”. Only in Rockford, IL there were about search interests for the term “COVID-19 testing”. This can mean that after a vaccine has come out where different forms of news being presented of the vaccine many were starting to be interested in the vaccine. Still near the Chicago areas, many have search interests in simply learning about the term “COVID-19”. In this long term of finding solutions for the Coronavirus there still seems to be people with interests in just the Coronavirus.

Searches peaked in early April, just as the governments were racing to vaccinate populations. Starting off this year man people moved their interest more to the term “COVID-19 vaccine” search and no more into the term “COVID-19 testing” search.

There has been no defeat of the simple search term “COVID-19” which is still present.
